weapons that make American weapons almost useless, would Christian fundermentalists approve then of the use of Christian fundermentalist suicide bombers to stop the aliens?
And would these patriotic fundermentalist Christian suicide bombers against the godless aliens get a special prise in heaven?

You actually make a strange point....

Why would they only come after us?
Our technology is no good (because they neutralized it)
Our religion is no good (because they're Godless)

It MUST be our Women that these Godless aliens are after..!!!
Perhaps hey got angered over the fact that we kept running the 'Miss Universe Contest" and not allowing them to put one of their 4 foot tall six breasted grey skinned aliens into the lineup.

Nope. if the aliens were so superior and killing everything, we would all be dead. And how do you know they are godless besides killing everything. God created the whole universe and if there are aliens, they would have been made by God and I am sure god would have let them know about Him. God is not an earth only God. If you read the Bible you would know that a lot of the universe knows God and the Bible even mentions things that science only discovered recently. Like the passage in the Bible that says the earth was one day going to wobble, and after the tsunami in Indonesia that was so powerful it knocked the earth off it's rotation by 2 degrees and the earth is now wobbling and that day actually lost time. But suicide bombers? No.

I don't think we would.

Some of our biggest societal changes came about from the result of "nonviolent" resistance to injustice. Martin Luther King, jr and much of our civil rights movement achieved great change without resorting to suicide bombings as a primary tactic.

Other leaders have achieved similar results (think Ghandi in India...)

Finally, we are one of the few societies that has ever, in the whole history of warfare, tried to target strictly military targets and tried to minimize the deaths of innocents.

Trying to apologize for terrorist bombing attacks in this way ignores the fact that many or most of these attacks avoid military targets and aim for innocent people, including civilians, women, and children. Bombing pizza parlors full of teenagers is a despicable act that no elaborate rationaliztion will Ever make okay.

One last note. Military leaders send soldiers on "suicide" missions all the time. A suicidal attack that takes out a true military target, ends a battle and saves American soldiers lives is not objectionable.

the point of the question is if faced with an enemy that had no religious affiliation would Christian fundamentalists give their life for the greater good because they were godless enemies. read between the lines people. Aristotle and Socrates raised their hand in class and asked imperfectly worded questions before they reached a more perfected state. the asking of questions in pursuit of knowledge or expanding of discussion is noble in itself.

Whoa! I think you need your meds adjusted, and no, you picked the wrong religion if you are looking for them to advocate suicide as a way of self-defense, the only justification for violence.

You might want to try reality, if you want to pose an intelligent question or debate, this is just a stupid cartoon-like scenario, very immature....*feigns surprise*

If you are trying your hand at drawing an analogy, it is a poor one.

For this to be accurate, you would have to explain where America has attacked Muslims prior to 911 and then carry out the attack simply because they were Muslim.

Come on...Tell me where and when you radical babe!

Take the veil off and live a little.

The clear answer is no. There is nothing in fundamentalist Christian religion that would advocate such a position. In fact, many (if not most) Christian fundamentalists believe directly committing suicide would land one in Hell.

If they made american weapons useless, then a suicide bomber wouldn't do any damage either. The question is pointless because it wouldn't matter either way.

no, that will never happen. Those are muslim beleifs, not Christian. I am not Christian and am not a fan of Christianity, but I do know about that faith and suicide is out of the question.
