Hi, Gowri. To establish an IIT and run it requires a lot of finances. A developing country like ours has to spend money cautiously examining the needs on priority basis. Being a democratic country, we are struggling to get ourselves improved in the midst of corruption, nepotism, red tapism etc. Our people of legislatures, executive and judiciary should be more patriotic and vigilant. Now and then, they take wise decisions. They are about to start five more IITs in the states that are ecucationally backward.
