Hi,
I'd like to know how to switch on the heating controls inside the car. Do I turn on the AC switch and move the button to red or what exactly?

well my lever won't move all the way to the end of the red area. It moves only to the middle and cold air comes out.

Yes that sounds right. You might want to check out the owners manual just to be sure.
Glad to help you, Good Luck!!!
Part 2:
If the control won't move all the way, then you have a cable that has slipped inside the hold down some how. You will have to get under the dash on the passenger side of the car. While you move the control, look for the cable it moves, and trace it to the door it moves. Remove the cable from the door attachment, and open the door all the way until you have full heat. I would look at both ends of the cable to determine which end the cable should be adjusted from. Once you have the door all the way open, reattach the cable in the correct location, and tighten it down. Be careful not to tighten it too much as these bolts tend to strip out very easy. With the cable all the way to heat in the red zone and the door all the way open, this should be the correct location to snug it down. The problem is; the door is only opening a little bit, and not enough to get full flow through it, thus you have luke warm heat.
Have fun, good luck!!!

Uhhh, why would you turn on the A/C? Just turn the fan on and move the lever over to the red area.
