I'd like to call the girl who I first fell in love with. My family has run-ins with her all the time. It has been 4-5 years, but we were first loves. I'd like to call her, but I think i'd look like one of those weird ex's that call randomly. I think letters are psychotic and I don't want to just stop by her house. I'm a firefighter in the town she lives in and I have yet to run into, but I secretly took the job there with the thought that I might run into her. There was no bad blood during the break-up. When I see her friends I don't talk ****. So, I don't see any problems i just don't know how to approach.

Just do it. Call her up and tell her you're back in town and you'd like to see her. Just do lunch. It's non threatening and non commital.

Ask the family where she goes and without looking like a stalker just go there for a bit. You know, pretend it is a chance meeting. For example a safe public place like the market or a bookstore. Then you go "Oh, wow, Jennifer, you look awesome! etc" If se does not want to reconnect be sure to respect it.

Well you were friends once,and talking to her should not be a problem.Be bold and go and talk that you want to be friends again.She will not refuse.

well....don't know if either of you are married...if she is then don't call her...if she isn't, then look her up and call...or find out where she works and try to "accidentally" bump into her.....good luck
