The white of the egg has lots of protein and almost no fat. The yolk has fat and cholesterol. You should really only eat 3 to 4 egg yolks in a week at the most, but you can eat a lot more of the whites in a week. That's why lots of people eat egg white omelets.

Although the white of an egg may not contain any fat, which has what has lead to many of the recipes that exclude the edd yolk altogether, the yolk does have have some extra vitamins, and by far has all of the flavour.

the white of an egg is basically an antibiotic fluid to protect the embryo, the yolk is a kind of nutritional soup that the embryo feed on as it grows in the shell as it has no connection to its mothers blood supply (Obviously, being in an egg an all...) so the yolk is actually healthier from a nutritional stand point, the white does contain protiens that the body can use, so just fry one up and enjoy!

That's what they say. But there's really nothing wrong with the whole egg. It's just if you have a cholesterol problem, you don't want too many egg yolks.

Yes. The yolk is high in cholesterol and calories. The white of the egg is low fat, low cholesterol, and much better for you.

technically yes.
I eat egg yolks & I'm just fine my Doc says.
If you like your eggs with little flavor.
Sure you can flavor egg whites give yourself a stomach ulcer using spices if you like.
Protein is lost when the yolk is removed & you'll need to eat more egg whites to get the same protein as in 1 normal egg with yolk.

Yes much! Egg white is one of the best foods in the world for you. Egg white is mostly protine, but also has lots of other good stuff in it. If you think about it it's designed to grow a healthy chick, and on a base level were made of the same stuff so it's awesome for us as well.

the yoke on the other hand is a bit more of a mixed bag - it has vitamin D, and I believe omega oils that are good for you, but it also contains a lot of cholesterol and other bad stuff!

Both are good for you in moderation. The white is the protein and the yolk is the fat, which contains essential omega oils.
