Islam is a peaceful religion & it should not be judged based on what a few people do if that was the case then the whole world would hate the christians because of what the crusades did.
so before some people decide to trash a good & peaceful religion, research the Quran.
To answer your question Donot associate partners with Allah (SWT) But only Allah knows best & he is most forgiving.

Allah praise is due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad. The only sin you will never be forgiven for is called "shirk," which is associating partners with Allah. Saying that Allah has sons, or a wife, or that he is one part of 3, etc. Allah is ONE. If you are out of the fold of Islam, the outlook doesn't look to good either. Allah also chooses who he wills out of his mercy to enter paradise and he is the best of judges. Allah knows best.
