There is this great site that I suggest you visit:

http://www.recipezaar.com

Just type "dried basil leaves" into the search engine at the top of the home page, and it will give you a search result for over 1,000 recipes that use this ingredient. You can then have the search engine sort the recipes by which ones are the easiest and take the least time to make. Good luck!

i might commence with a SCANT a million tablespoon dried basil extra on the initiating of simmering. flavor some million hour until now the sauce is complete and alter at that factor. Twenty basil leaves is a few million/4 cup sparkling basil. sparkling herbs to dried is a few 3 to one ratio ordinarily.

If you are using dried herbs, they need to go into the beginning of something you are cooking so it can re-hydrate. It's kind of silly to pick a recipe based on that one ingredient, since you could put it in so many things. The most common thing you would put it in would be tomato sauce. You could just add it to a jarred sauce to get it a little extra aroma, if you want something really easy. Or you could put it in salad dressing or soup. Notice I'm only meantioning things with lots of water, though. That's the only kind of stuff I would use dried herbs for.

I like to add dried basil to my cooked carrots.
I boil the carrots first and then when the carrots are cooked I add a bit of margarine/butter and then a sprinkle of basil.
It makes it look nicer and adds a sweetness to them.
Also you can add basil to tomato based dishes ex. spaghetti or chili
