id like to lose weight fast and i have a lot to lose. i know it will need strength and self control, but i have been trying for 4 years and i have tried everything i can afford. i find that in the morning, i can eaither not eat at all for the day (which i know isnt good) or i eat too much, is there a way to cut sugar and fat and carbs healthily? does it work?

I lost 50 pounds in 8 months and 1 week...I did it on Weight Watchers...

eating every four to six hours, small meals and snacks, will keep you from eating too much...another trick is that every time you think you are hungry, drink some water, you will fill up and not gain any weight!

I did Atkins years ago and did lose weight quickly but also gained it back quickly as well as raising my cholesterol a lot!

My first week of low carbing I lost 7,9pounds, I also exercised quite a bit then and started at a high weight.
Low carb/atkins worked quite well for me, as I felt way more energized which also let me work out more to help aid weight loss.

I found the best way to be sure of what I ate was good for me and such was to plan a menu in advance, down to the amount, I'd follow that and lost weight.

I lost 7 lbs. in a week on the Akins diet, but after a month of being on it my body went through w/ drawl & I was in
so much pain that it felt like I ran a marathon & I could not get out of bed. I gave up on that & then was fine.

try weight watchers instead, I know alot of people that
have done well w/ that & good luck

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

okay first off, carbs is what keeps your body RUNNING. Let me tell you something. If your body had only ONE source of fuel (which thankfully it doesn't, it had 3), it would be glucose, which translates toooo carbs. yeah. And if you didn't have enough, in 2 hours (TWO HOURS!) your body would shut down, you would go into a coma, and die. Why did I go through all that just now? To tell you to AVOID the Atkins diet. It's VERY unhealthy for you. Try Weight Watchers, they're really good. The safest amount you can lose is 2 lbs per week. After that, it's not safe, because your body isn't used to losing weight that fast, it's just not normal. Good luck, I'm trying to lose weight too haha
