i've always wanted to know the answer to this! i thought it does, because afterall it is water... but my friends told me it doesnt work like that. if you drink 6-8 glasses of pure fruit juice its not the same as water which i thought it would be because afterall its 99% water! so drinking 8 glasses fruit juice = 7 glasses water (atleast?) but the people i asked dont agree with me. anyway good luck on getting a good answer =)

the water must be as close to pure water as possible...but you can substitute two glasses with unsweetened iced tea or crystal lite...you can also have flavored sparkling water so long as they are low in sodium and don't have any sugar in them...

yeah, there's water in everything, and it all adds up to it. Yes, even crackers have water. I kid you not LOL don't worry so much!
