not me, but i don't believe in hell like that. I believe in annihilation, where you cease existing when touched like with antimatter.
I believe as the Adventists do.

It is just a shame that some people are frightened into a belief. It truly is sad and heartbreaking.
And spitting hellfire and damnation just shows how far some have to grow. But then people have to find their own way, that is what its about and to learn the true meaning of oneness and love.
Peace!

once you've puzzled your beliefs - yet nevertheless have self assurance the tale of Noah's Ark - then you truthfully have not extremely puzzled your beliefs. Do you not comprehend that there is a continuous written record in Egypt that spans the time that the Ark change into meant to ensue? and in no way one record mentions how damp it truly is getting. Do you've any idea how a lot of your dogma is outright refuted by info? Or do you actually not care sufficient to threat your shielding idea device? sure, i'm particular that many Christians question their beliefs - and they both change into atheists or they retreat lower back lower than the protection blanket that protects their beliefs from reality. heavily - call one component that makes your idea diverse from a Roman 2000 years in the past who believed contained in the Roman gods. - yet you push aside their beliefs out of hand as mythology. and that i think the reason being that you've been taught that the Roman Gods are mythology - inspite of the indisputable fact that the Christian God is real. in accordance to not something yet words and dogma.

When you have matured enough to speak intelligently I would be happy to talk to you about my beliefs. In a secular manner if you so chose. To say that all Christians are afraid is just showing your utter lack of knowledge. I won't spit one hellfire or damnation at you either. We can talk science, history, or biology.

I don't consider this a worthwhile question at all. For two points I'm saying my piece. Firstly you tar all of one religion with the same brush, which in my book is stupid. Secondly have you spoken to ALL Christians in order to get a complete view of what they think?
If I were you, I'd come back with a grown up question that makes a nice solid arguement for your own particular viewpoint and see what response you get.
As for betting on hell or not-other posters answer, it's completely crazy to live ones life in the shadow of an imaginary fear. If a person can't behave ethically and with love on his own two feet, what does it say about that person when it takes the fear of hell to force him to do so?
I don't believe in your hells/heavens and all that jazz. Guess what, I don't feel answerable to anyone but myself and the people I care about, and the law I suppose. Yet, somehow I manage to treat people how I expect to be treated most of the time, I would feel bad about stealing off folks and couldn't contemplate beating folks up. All that without hell. Good ain't it?

We don't doubt our own beliefs. Of course there is a spirit world. Every Christian that is a true Christian knows this. We don't summon, or attempt to contact the satanic spirit world. Those of us who are born again have the Holy Spirit within us to say that we don't believe in spirit's would be to contradict the word of God.

A true Christian, Who is born of the one true God, who is like Jesus Christ and has genuine fellowship with him; is not afraid of what he/she believes.
It's a fact that some Christians are nominal, only having a form of godliness but without real power and true conviction.
Others (like myself) do not deny God a right to use us as a means of expressing Himself, powerfully on earth... We enjoy the privilege of being used by God to change people's lives and save them from the fires of hell; just as He used others to save us.
If you want to know more about Heaven, Hell, or Jesus I'll be willing to share my views with you. IM or email blessomania@yahoo.com .

So what you're saying is that because of your arrogance you're willing to take a gamble on whether Hell is real or not? Fine, suit yourself. Just remember that once you are heaved into that lake of fire there is no going back.

Huh? We're not afraid of our own beliefs. Why would we be?
Why must you oversimplify things? And why must you characterize beliefs that don't agree with yours as "fear"?
