Good for you and well done.
Unfortunately, as a fellow chocoholic, there is nothing to take away that urge really. I know if I NEED choc and I dont get it, something evil may happen.
Anyway, that said, you can try protein bars. They sell them at the supermarket and are freakishly expensive BUT are quite healthy for you, AND some of them come coated in chocolate. (Be careful though, some come coated in carob - yukky)
Also my naturopath told me that IF Im going to indulge, ( that's a given) there are certain chocolate bars that are hugely lower in calories than others. Here in Australia the one to go for is a Milky Way. Do you have those where you live?
Dont want to sabotage you, but if you deprive your body of something it really wants you'll end up dreaming about it! The only other suggestion I have is, reward yourself. eg. a week without chocolate = a new pair of shoes. Hopefully by the time you've gone a week your body will be weaned off of it???
Anyway all the best to you.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. U can eat chocolate also in the same way but never by itself. Always with food, preferably before.

It seems fine. My friend went on a diet where she just didn't eat desserts or junk food (instead she ate fruits to satisfy her cravings) and she lost so much weight. She still ate the same foods for breakfast lunch and dinner (just not stuff that was sugary). As long as you get enough of every nutrient you should be fine. Make sure your happy with your meal plan, though. My friend cheated occasionally when she really really wanted dessert because she didn't want to be unhappy just because of her diet. You should also exercise a lot so you'll have a better figure and will lose weight at the same time. Good Luck!

Don't have chocolate, as you obviously have a sweet tooth, go out and buy yourself some dried apricots, prunes or raisons or some fruit pastilles or those hard boiled sweets. They are a bit better for you than chocolate either that or drink some luke warm water or buy some chewing gum. I'm a strong believer in chewing gum

Try and eat more protein, I have heard that curbs cravings for sugar in general. Wean yourself off milk chocolate and switch to the darkest bitter chocolate you can find - a little goes a long way and you will feel sated faster.

This might sound a little strange, but the ONLY sustitute food to completely satisfy my chocolate cravings is Goji berries. They are super healthy w/ a wonderfully rich flavor & slender celebrities have been singing the praises of Goji berries . . .
