ALWAYS tells his friends and family ( that I've never met) that I am his girlfirend but then he says "She's white"...it's driving me crazy...I've talked to him about it and tell him "Now why would you do that? I don't introduce you as my "black" boyfriend." How can I get him to stop doing this?

Look this is not uncommon. I don't think that he's uncomfortable. I would tell my friends and family first as well. Its not just with race though. I would tell them if you were blind, deaf, blue, handsome, intelligent, or otherwise. Whether you like it or not you race and ethnicity is a part of who you are and your culture. You are clearly different than their norm. Calm down he means nothing by it. Be happy that he mentions you at all. Many men don't tell their families anything about who they are dating.

You must learn to understand this isn't perfect world and not everyone in our family and friends will always accept interracial relationship. He's probably just being protective that others in his friends/family may not accept your colours/race or that he is into interracial relationship.... why?

Maybe he feels that u being white and him black is something unusual , so all u need to do is talk it over with him form all points of view, and u need to visit his parents also so they know u in person.

its really not a big issue. dont make a problem out of this,really. theres worse problems to have in a relationship. hes prbably just telling them so that they are aware that you are white, so that when they do meet you they are not surprised and make you feel uncomfortable.

Tell him that you don't like it, and if he won't stop, I'd threaten to break up with him, because a boyfriend who won't listen to you isn't worthy of being your boyfriend.

well i guess he feels he needs to tell them cos maybe he doesnt want them to act surprised or somethign ..........maybe they are racial or somethign !
see tell him it botheres you and that you dont mind people giving you wierd looks or giving you surprised looks when they meet you and that you just want him to introduce you as the girl he is seeing and nothing more !!
