"I just luuurvee your British accent" is something often heard.

But what about:
"I say, what a delightfully charming Valley Girl you are..."
or
"Cor blimey...you have a wizard Dixie accent you have"?

I would say it sounds like music to my ears, this accent the Brits have. I do not associate it with sex at all. They are likely to find some of American accents pleasant or interesting as well, The southern perhaps?

I don't think many of us find American accents sexy, but I think the reason is that we are so used to them. There are so many American TV shows on our screens (ER, Friends, Lost, The Simpsons, Futurama, Malcolm in the Middle, Sex and the City, Two and a half Men, King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond and on and on ad infinitum) that they have become normal and don't actually cause our brains to register that it's something different.

One of my daughters has married and settled in the USA.
To me the American accent of my gorgeous two year old American grand-daughter is the cutest in the world. She goes to nursery and she has really picked it up from her playmates. It is very sweet but it is not sexy !

I don't know, but I don't personally find a British accent very sexy. It's neat, but I wouldn't say "sexy."
