Mr Felix lived in the 2 storey house. He told his slave, A-Ming, to turn off the lamps in the 1st floor. There are 3 switches and they are all in the 2nd floor. They cannot see the lamp from the 2nd floor.How can A-Ming knows that this switch to turn off this lamp, but Mr Felix only give him 1 chance to check it?

yes i can. One switch must be turned on for a long time, so that one of the lamps will be hot while entering. The other switch shouldn't be touched at all , so that lamp will be cold. As for third switch it must be heated until medium for several minutes. That's it- so slave will knoe which switch belongs to which lamp.

flip all the switches once, leave alone for 10 mins while doing some other chore.
after the 10 mins
flip the first switch and leave it "on" for 5-10 mins before flipping it back "off"
after you have done this with the first switch, flip the second switch "on". Leave it like that. Now go check the lamp.
If the lamp is still very hot, its switch one. if its still on, its switch two. if its has very little warmth to it its switch three.

easy.
turn one light on then in five minutes turn another on, then in 3 minutes turn them both off. go in the room and feel the lightbulbs. the hottest one will be the one u turned on first. the coldest one will be the one you didnt turn on, and the warm one will be the one left on for 3 minutes.
