I want to colour my hair, but I cannot make up my mind between colouring it full and just having some highlights.
My hair is naturally black, with big curls. It's layered and of medium length (bad haircut!). My face is KINDA round, too. I have a medium olive complexion, and dark eyes. My eyes are my best features, by the way.
So what colour would you suggest? And, do I colour it full or just have some highlights?

I would recommend that you don't colour your beautiful hair! So many girls want that naturally black hair because dyed black always looks dyed!
If you must colour it though, I'd do highlights. Here's a weird trick. Look closely at your eyes and at the flecks of color in them. Find the ones you like and use them as your highlight colours. Highlights look best with more than one colour and really thin strips so they look natural. Go multitonal with the colours in your eyes or just do a range from dark brown to honey coloured.

Whatever you do.. dont colour it ALL of your hair...
What you need to do is get some honey,blonde,brown,golden highlights, as this will be more subtle, and less over the top! and it will really suit your complexion..
Dont go too light, as your hair will get damaged with all the bleach...
I have been highlighting my hair for about 4 years now, and i have never coloured all my hair, i just get my "t-section" highlighted and it looks amazing!

i would suggest to colour it fully. i personally wouldnt do highlights. i it really dries out your hair after about a month it starts looking ratty, thats my opinion anyway. i think with your complexion maybe a medium brown or a reddish brown look nice. good luck in finding the perfect colour.

do highlights. Any thing that lightens your hair has bleach in it. Higlights will give you a nice change but it wont be as hard to change if you do not like it. You can go to a salon for a consultation. They will show you colors that compliment your features

because your hair is black i wouldn't go for an all over colour just yet it would be a big shock! i would start with highlights.
go to your hairdressers they will recommend the best colour for you. good luck.

Leave it the colour it is, with side fringe/bangs.Layer so the front is shorter than the back... think Rhinna?

colour it dark brown full and give the highlight's of burgundy and light brown/
