The key to losing weight is not only portion control but also raising your metabolism. My diet consists of 5 meals a day. They're not really all meals, kinda like 3 meals and 2 snacks. But the portions are small. I also cut most carbs from my diet as well. I have a bowl of Special K in the morning and a medium banana. 3 hours later I have a small cup of yogurt and a Whey protein shake. Lunch at 12:00 consists of salad with a couple slices of lunch meat or a chicken breast--no dressing. Another snack at 3:30 small cup of yogurt. I have a protein shake for dinner after I do an hour of cardio usually on the elliptical. I have been on this diet for about a week and have already noticed that my clothes fit better... The best thing about it is: I'm not hungry at all... And when I do have something that's not in my regiment, it makes my stomach hurt. Most hunger simply comes from your mind not your body. As long as your body is trained to only get hungry at the times you are eating, you will be fine! And plus, without the carbs your body will be burning everything you are eating plus some without having to work out a ton! You just have to make sure you don't let your eyes (or your friends) influence your hunger. Whenever you see something you like, you want to eat it. Whenever other people are eating in front of you, you want to eat too... But you just teach your body to only eat at the same times and only small portions. You will be results very quickly!!!

As people have said before, I'm afraid there is no quick fix for losing weight, if you do that then it comes back quickly. Maintaining a sustained healthy diet with lots of exercise will ensure that when you lose weight, it will stay off, instead of yo-yoing between different sizes and still not being happy.
You should also be careful how much water you drink, it will make you feel bloated if you drink too much, which will inflate your stomach anyway, so not really a good solution to compensate food for water.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

a quick way to lose weight is with a meal replacement diet.here's a recipe for a milkshake whch has protein, carbs, fruit and dairy so it's balanced and nutritional(probably shouldn't be done for long period of time though!)
Handful of berries(whatever you desire)
half a banana
few ice cubes
1/2 cup of milk
2tablespoons of chocolate protein
mix altogether in a blender and wella:)
I'm starting this monday(need to lose some christmas kilo's for my upcoming wedding). My friend went on it ages ago and lost 5kg in the first week.
Good luck!

As long as you dont starve yourself, eat healthily and exercise regularly you will lose weight, crash diets are no good, believe me I've done them! All you do when you starve your body is slow down your metabolism so any food your body does get, it stores as fat as it doesn't know when the next meal is coming. Also you usually put oll the weight back on when you start eating properly again, and because of the fat stores it's a lot harder to shift! Good luck!

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

you will put your body in starvation mode if you do this!
where is the protein in your diet???
to be safe you should only lose 2 pounds a week. if you lose more, you risk nasty stretch marks, and no crash diet will get rid of those.
to lose one pound, you must reduce your diet and increase your exercise to negate 3500 calories. do the math, girl. you are setting yourself up for failure.
start yourself off small. five pounds. ten pounds.
that's like a high school actor saying they're going to win the oscar, losing forty pounds in a SHORT time.

you shouldnt try to lose wait too quickly as you can get stretch marks. you shouldnt starve yourself. you should eat in moderation. eating small meals a day would be better. i have studied slimming and exercise and if you send me your height in cm, your weight in kilos i can calculate how much calories you need to eat per day to lose weight.
