When you have a k sound followed immediately be a kh-sound. Do you pronounce them both, or do they become meshed into one kh-sound?

For example,

emek, choresh...

Would it be pronounced like "emechoresh?" Or emek choresh?

It just seems kinda hard to say the k-kh together.

Yes, both consonant should be pronounced.

I live in a valley called "Emek Charod", and you should definitely pronounce the "k" sound and the "kh" sound one by one. You should also pronounce these consonants when they appear in one word, for example "k'chi" ("take", singular female imperative form), or "k'chalchal" ("blueish").

If they are 2 words you would pronounce it emek choresh. The fact that they are 2 different words means they have seperate pronounciations! But i think even one word in this instance would be pronounced like that! What word is that? I am not familiar with it.....?
