i dont think so cuz once my cousin stupidly put soap in her hair rather than shampoo and like a month later her hair was really dry and it shedded. It was GROSS!

Yes, it will work to get your hair clean, but don't do it too often.
Regular soap is much more aggressive than shampoo and in the long run it will dry the hair and make it brittle.

basically for proper hair health chemicals particularly harsh chemicals are to be avoided. It may be very good if shampoo also is avoided and instead home made nutmug powder can be very effective. There is no problem if hair is washed with only water. At the same time if soap is used for one time or so it may not cause much problem

It will be ok for a day but buy shampoo as soon as possible, if you have really short hasi (like number 3 razor) soap will be fine for majority of the time

Yes...moreso for shorter hair though.
Chemically speaking, it is not detrimental, but soap can dry out hair fairly quickly. So, if you can replenish your supply of shampoo within a day, ...that would be great.

Of course not!! I've ever tried it before (I used milk soap) and my hair smelled like milk in 5 days!!

yes it does..but get ur shampoo soon..or else ur hair could break if continuously washed with soap..

yea soap will work it least it will clean your hair my brother use to use dish washing detergant on his hair it always looked clean & shinie as long its clean and smells nice

NO NO AND No.. only in an emergency! you should never run out of shampoo anyway.......
