Ms. supposed ex-Muslimah, who told you that Muslim men can date any woman of their choice but a Muslim woman can't? AHA! Proves yet AGAIN that you never did learn the true Islam.... I wonder who taught you Islam in the first place, if you really were a Muslim. I continue you to believe you've nicknamed yourself "ExMuslimah" only to fool those who're easily fooled. May God be their (and definitely your) Guide to the TRUTH!
Now, ma'am, lemme inform you that dating is not permitted in Islam.... That is only if your idea of dating is the western idea which practically pressures the male and the female to sleep with each other, to be intimate with each other, and so on..... Muslim women cannot marry non-Muslim men JUST AS Muslim men cannot marry non-Muslim women. Could you please show me where you get all this biased info from? The Quran states that we can marry People of the Book (Jews and Christians), but it also says that we can't marry those who're non-believers.... And the Quran strictly considers "God has a son" a NON-BELIEVING idea!!!! Therefore, Muslims are not permitted to marry non-Muslims. Some Muslims still do it, but we're still given the right to choose--whether Islamic or not.
By the way, Muslim women are perfectly given a choice in their marriage!!! A Muslim woman is told to marry ANY (Muslim) man of her choice, even if her parents, family members, relatives, or the rest of the society do not agree with her choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW ABOUT THAT??? Which other religion do you know gives a woman the right to choose her OWN husband???? (I'm talking about RELIGION; not culture). Now, honestly speaking, the culture I practice doesn't allow females that right..... But does that make it ISLAMIC?? NOOOO!!! Not at all!! Man-made rules are all over, you seee.... In cultures, it is the MEN who make the rules; in religion, it is GOD who makes the rules.
Happy now? No, of course not... Cause you don't wanna hear the truth since it'll just make you angry. Well, like it or not, the Truth will ALWAYS prevail ;)

Us Muslims ladies can date and marry any man of our choice providing he is a Muslim.
Because you are not or never were a Muslim hatred is all you understand.

It is supposed to be immoral.
Up Date: Man and Woman has equal rights in Islam. Man and Woman has deferent responsibilities according to their Unique physical structure.
Islam does not want to pressurize man or woman which is not suitable for them.
First time Islam gave woman legal right full share in property or wealth.
Islam held Man responsible to feed Woman, not to abuse Woman in the name of liberty and not to make her public property.
Islam gave respect to Woman.

well *Dating* isn't an option in any Abrahamic religion ( Priests are not even allowed to marry in some Christian sects ( married life dulls their mind ? ) !) . what is debated is the the Social Stigma so If that isn't an issue nothing there from Stopping a lady from the man of her Choice .

Hey, watch out! I am a muslim girl and am dating a guy I choose. And I find no obstacles whatsoever to have a relationship with anyone I like. And there is a rule in the holy book that one can not, definitely can not force a marriage. If you don't like the guy, don't blame Islam. Thats culture, demographical culture.

The fact is that woman have very little value compared to men in Muslim cultures, plain and simple.
You won't hear much from liberals about this because although they do a lot of talking about woman's rights, they never actually support Muslim woman in any way.
