It depends on what "Grandma" is saying. My children's crazy old country grandma says all kinds of nutty stuff like take a bottle too fast out of a baby's mouth will rip his tongue out (no joke she is absolutely certifiable.) She also has 15 cats locked up in her basement. Needless to say, I don't listen to her.

Well your Grandma would be happy if you listened to her stories.
If you're talking about the song 'Grandma', no its not alright. It's very very annoying.

here is some thing I learned from my mother she said that with age comes wisdom with youth comes knowledge. so listen to your grandma as she has been here along time and can teach us things that she has been through in her life also you can tell her things that are new in the world. and even when we don't think the grow ups are listening, they are and the young teach the old and visa-verse.

People don't stay on this earth forever. Even bad advice will contain wisdom you can learn from. Listen with a kind ear to everything you can.
BUT
People say cruel things. If she is hurtful or unloving she is abusing her words and you. Listen to her then, too - if only to remind yourself to be kind to others.

Depends. If she's the only one around, you should listen. If mom and dad are around, they have final say, if it contradicts grandma, then too bad.
