please exlpain how it is there. how do i fly from europe to this island. and are the people there friendly?

Antigua is beautiful, people are wonderful. Unfortunately, there's lots of poverty. When dining outside, children were begging us for food. It was heartbreaking. But they desperately need the tourists to survive, so as long as you're prepared.

There people here are literally the friendliest people I have ever meet. Simply looking for directions each person was happy to help, and they all are very nice people to one another, and tourists. And they don't even treat you like tourists. Unfourtunatley yes there is poverty but in a sense there lifestyle is great.
When touring the country you see the nice houses , the history of the place like old sugar plantations, and also so many free animals. Which I thought was amazing, you get to see goats and cows crossing the streets and are free. Which is wonderful, even though they are still eaten.
The water is so gorgeous many shades of blues and greens. Pretty. The trip is sorta hard to get there, so I am assuming from Europe you also have to go from Puerto Rico.
But if you go you will definatley love it.

Havent been there but as a caribbean person and flying over the island it looks pretty flat and the island boasts of their 365 beaches.There are excellent 5star resorts such as Sandals etc.In all it is a very touristy Place ideal for the Sun Sand and Sea vacation if that is what you are looking for..i guess the ple would be friendly because you are a tourist lolol.

My husband and I stayed at Blue Waters Resort. A wonderful place, friendly staff, great food, nice side trips.
