This is not heaven! God want's to see if you are worthy of heaven by yourself. This thought of prayer is selfish, and undermines his purpose. If you can not get through life without prayer, then you are not worthy of heaven!

God always answers your prayers. Sometimes He says no, but He always answers. If you keep a prayer journal you will be amazed after awhile at how God answers. Sometimes you will find that you repeatedly ask for something, maybe even begged and God just didn't seem to be coming through for you, then you realize that if He had answered the way you wanted it would have been disaster, but that He opened another door and through it you found success and happiness. In all your prayers always ask for God's will, not your own, because He is so much smarter and wiser than any of us could ever think of being. He sees the whole picture while we are peeking through a tiny hole. He knows what will be good for us in the long run and what will only bring sorrow. Keep praying, Father loves to talk with His children!

The dumb religious preachers keep brainwashing the helpless weak people with myth like god and prayers. The politicians all around the world take advantages from that.

I do. It depends how He/She/It feels about me at the time. Is the prayer well founded?? Is it truthful? Is it necessary? God has helped me over the years and has seen me through sickness, jobs, making money, WW2, college, the right decisions and so on. I can't complain. God has been good to me and I thank Him.

Hebrews 11:5-6 (King James Version)
5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Once you come to God in faith knowing that He has already answered your pray there is nothing to worry about. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Yes Brethren He answers my prayers all the time.
