Probably more than you appreciate the special relationship that Latins have long had with California, Florida, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. All of which are or will be majority latino soon again. That were originally settled by Spain. Most used to be part of Mexico. Indeed, I have been in the largest grocery store in Miami. Three stories of food and not one employee that spoke English. Not one person speaking English in the airport either.

I bet many of them too would want to move to Australia. It probably would offer them better promise as individuals than their own countries. Question, why do they not flock there as much as they do to the US of A. The US gives even a much bigger promise than Australia does. It is known as the "Land of opportunities" to many hopefuls. It is closer, more advertised as an attractive destiny etc...
Again, remember many do not meet the requirements to get a visa tu the US and I guess to Australia too. So its going to still be hard for them to come over there. And still if they did, some may come and take Australia to be a "Stop over" until their dream chance to go to the US comes true.

It's too far away and I don't think so these people will have enough money to travel to Australia, also most people would rather go to America because they think they have more possibilties than in any other country. Australia is on the other side of the world and I don't think the will adjust to this type of place.

Americans have nothing against south americans, there are actually very few south americans in the US
what they don't like its the mexicans (mexicans are not south americans) because they have flooded the US with illegal migrants

We are great people! That being said it is all about location, location, location. The US is closer for most and they can travel by land. Many kind of hopscotch north until they can cross. You might have a better chance getting the people from the southern portions of South American than their northern neighbors.

Maybe you're not good in geography, so it's never too late to learn new things
AMERICA is a continent discovered by Cristoforo Colombo in 1492 and is composed of three sub-continents: South America, Central America and North America.
More about America here:

http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Am%C3%A9rica
I hope this information was usefull to you
PS: No need to say, Latin, South American and Mexican... Latin American is enough.

the real complaint is the amount of people coming in too fast illegaly, as in "undocumented", its like people sneaking into your house and the eating your food while you're at work and hiding under the porch when you're home
on the other hand america has welcomed immigrants from all over the world so long as they follow the critiria set forth

That's right. We just want to take back what is ours, after that, we'll visit your countryif you feel lonely. Someone said that immigrants are like people who hide in your porch when you come back from work. Well, at least they don't kill you and take all thats yours, not yet, anyways. Didn't Europeans kill most Native Americans? Mmmh, yes. They took everything from them (us).
Australia is too far away for most people, even residents of the U.S. I don't think there would be many oportunities there for anyone. It is a big land, but you people have a low population for a reason.

That's not a bad idea. However, most are too poor to be able to travel such a long distance, and swimming is so last century! I bet they'd get treated much better there, though.
