Can't really help - but would suggest looking in a department store where they have them all lined up together (usually all showing same film) and stand back as far away as you can, you'll see a lot of difference in the colour saturation, probably making one or two look far superior. Also ask yourself if you really need to pay extra for one that is HD ready - a few that are not are now being sold off cheaper - and when will the UK even have access to HD dvd's or players?

Everyone has their own opinion and judgement. The best way to buy a TV is to trust your own judgement and your own eyes. Shop around (in person; not online) and see the picture quality for yourself. Think about what will be hooked up to the TV and make sure it has enough inputs & outputs. Also, non-hdtv is cheaper than hdtv. Will you be watching hd programs?
The only thing I would suggest is buy a well-known brand name like Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, etc. You get what you pay for so don't go cheap.

I have recently bought a Phillips 32" LCD HD-ready TV online. It was delivered to home, I plugged it in and it worked straightaway. Lovely clear picture, has a proper off switch (none of this standby rubbish) and very easy to set up and configure. Would recommend this to anyone.
