You will most likely always have a slight 'accent" where most americans will be able to tell that you came from another country. Even if you pronounce everything very well. I know a young man from Mexico who came to the US when he was only 4 yrs old and now he is 16, and I can detect a slight "accent" even though he pronounces everything perfectly and has gone to american schools since Kindergarden.

You might be young enough that if you were immersed in English now, you could perhaps speak without an accent. 15-16 and younger can generally pick up languages easier and are better able to mimic the pronounciation than older individuals. Its rare but my husband came to the US when he was 21 and lived there on and off for 12 years. He has no detectable foreign accent and when he returned to his homeland, was told he now spoke with an American accent!

I am an American living and teaching English in S. Korea.
Pronunciation is the toughest part of a language, especially English because it is made up from many different languages.
Keep listening to movies and tapes etc. If you travel to America you don't need to be concerned. There are so many people from all over the world that accents and mispronunciations are apart of everyday life! I hope that you will travel to America and explore. You are still young and you will be able to significantly help your pronunciation with "immersion" in America!
Good luck!
