Growth rings indicate the changing in seasons, summer during which the trees grow, produce and lead fruitful lives and winter, a dormant, hard and cold season.
The trees in the Garden of Eden, just like the trees in the tropical rain forests live in an environment with plenty of water and cozy and warm temperatures. It has, how I would say, perfect conditions for a lush, laid-back and easy-going life. Good conditions all year long mean no change in growth pattern so no growth rings either. The life for plants in the Garden of Eden would be perfect!

No growth rings.
Growth rings are developed due to change in seasons and different climate and food cycles through which one goes through. As Eden is always in a perfect state, there plant growth must have received the best of climate always, let it be seconds or years, or milleniums. Thus growth ring must not be there.
This is the best answer that I can give with the limited knowledge of science and religion that I have.

From my understanding, most contemporary theories of creationism state that God has created the universe such that modern science would appear to confirm a more ancient creation date than proposed by the theory itself. For example, some say that God created stars with their light "on the way," so that the light can travel billions of light years in only 6000 years. Personally, I find this ridiculous, but it is part of the theory. So, by the same token, it makes sense that God would also create trees with growth rings at the time they came into existence.

The study of tree rings is a part of biological science and not theology so your question can not be answered. Science has no evidence that Eden ever existed so we can not examine the trees or make any deductions about them.
