I believe you can get the same/similar benefit from wine by taking grape seed extract pills and also drinking varieties of healthful fruit juices such as grape juice, pomegranate juice etc. If you wish to be healthy you needn't drink. There are many dangers to alcohol. It puts on extar pounds for one thing...If yo uhave it occasionally it would seem to be harmless But what if that one occasion you do something stupid such as drive or get mad and have a fight or become forceful ina relationship that you wouldn't have done if you were sober completely. It lowers your inhibitions-fine if you are in a protected environment with no bad stimuli or opportunity to do anything negative That seems a bit utopian so the seemingly innocent drinks may turn into a disaster. You may be more inclined to turn to that same"tame" drink when under pressure, if a crisis occurs in your life you will remmeber the calmness you got from that drink and turn to it again-but this time its addictive. Why take a chance you could be the one genetically predetermined to become the addicted one? You will also be morelikely to associate w other drinkers, many of whom may not be able to control their actions-leading you into a crown who can casue trouble-fights at taverns are common. Or yo umeet another tipsy party-goer and you make a disaster impulsive move to commit adultery on your spouse becasue you and the other person couldn't think ahead to the consequences of your actions. This leads to shame and then,,,guess what ?More drinking. Just forget it and have a cup of nice tea or coffee or a fruit health drink! Go to an ALANON meeting and speak to families of alcoholics to to see the complete devastation alcohol can cause

Yes,sir, there is a potential problem. Whatever the research tells, what I have seen for the last three decades is that occasional drinking gradually leads to addiction.....so, why do you want to try this nuisance. Just kick that peg!!! You see I have seen scores of youngsters who just try beer in the beginning with the false hope that it will cleanse their system. Gradually they graduate to occasional drinking of harder drinks...then becoming addicts is a hard reality. So, please have a lots and lots of fun, enjoy yourself but for Heaven's sake stay away from this villain......that is , alcohol.

It depends how much you drink. If you have a drink it's fine, but if you get drunk or even if you have more than 2 drinks it is too much.

Actually it is healthy to drink one glass of red wine a day. Red wine has flavanoids in it which are healthy for you.
