You could ask them any of those questions.
Unfortuantately, they all have the same answer. Why don't you just get a book, read, learn, and think for yourself?
Of course fundies don't want to do that, they just want to sit around asking moronic questions.

A good puzzling question for an evolutionist would be if the adations life made to survive the mass extinction at the end of the Permian period help today with the effects of global warming. I think an evolutionist would puzzle over that for a while before giving you some great insights.
The only question I can think of that would puzzle an atheist is why fundies are so scared to learn anything scientific?

Evolution is a false theory. it is only a theory. use of imaginative drawings and propaganda by scientists encourages most ppl to think that it is in fact true. natural selection is NOT the same as evolution. natural selection is the passing of the best fitting genes to offspring. evolution implies that all diverse species came from a similar source before evolving into different groups (eg. mammals, reptiles etc.). If this were so, there would have been fossils to show intermediates (eg. half - reptiles half mammals). Yet there are no *real* fossils that prove this. Of course there was a fake cranium that had features of humans and apes but it was later discovered how far evolutionists are prepared to go. They merged the skull of an ape and human! All real fossils suggest that the different species came about at once. Evolution also implies that creation came about by chance. BUT that has been proven wrong time and time again. In fact, the chance of a protein molecule being formed *by chance* is 1*10^10000 when the number that suggests impossibility is 1*10^50! A single protein/ cell is so complex to suggest that it has been created by chance is pure nonsense. Just as it is to assume that when walking into a jungle we find a plane - and assume that it was made by chance (by the wind etc). another reason why evolution is wrong is because we cannot simplify life, if we do it won't work. life is like a piece of clockwork - needs every single part for it to work.

The universe abounds with puzzling questions. Trouble is, most atheists and/or scientists are actually happy about this, and enjoy puzzling over them. In fact, that's what science is: puzzling about the universe.
However, puzzling questions are anathema to religion. Religion has absolute, immutable answers, and if the absolutes fail, so does the religion.
Finding holes in the Theory of Evolution is actually what scientists do - and then they try to find new data to fill the holes. When you find holes in religious doctrine, it either spells the end of the doctrine or else it means that loyal followers need to stick cotton in their ears, let they lose faith.

I would recommend you research this subject. If you spout off things that you heard from others you will be lost when they ask the next question. There are some good books out there that would help you. Evidence that demands a verdict by Josh McDowell, Refuting Evolution by Jonathan Sarfati, Answers by Ken Ham are just some. Do not try to debate any subject or anyone unless you really know the subject. Otherwise you will just convince them you are a fool

I think for an atheist you can ask them to explain a miracle, where does that power come from?
Where do we go after this life is over? Is this all there is to life? Are we on this earth to live and die just like that?
For an evolutionist I would ask them why we still have apes all around and what has evolved into what in the last couple of thousand years

Wow, all you christians are pathetic. You all ask the stupidest questions that only prove your ignorance.
Even the ones that think they know things about evolution have a total and complete misunderstanding of it. Like that guy who said there should be fossils of half mammals and half reptiles. How amazingly ignorant he is. He has no idea... He doesn't know that the Theory of Evolution never suggests that complete modern proteins just popped out of nowhere. Proteins came about through a long propitious series of chemical steps/selections spanning millions upon millions of years. The first were very much simpler than the modern proteins we see today. There's no doubt that modern proteins would have such poor odds of being produced randomly, but the very first ones are very plausible, because there've been experiments that show that it is easily possible. Furthermore, his stupid plane in the jungle analogy has no parallel to evolution at ALL... He really just doesn't understand evolution. His clockwork analogy to life is also incorrect. He'd have a hard time explaining vestigial organs under that analogy... For instance, the human appendix is useless, it is a remnant from our early ancestors. There has never been any negative effect from its absence, but it has often caused death due to appendicitis. We also have wisdom teeth. Those are useless, but were once usefull in an earlier time. They also cause more harm than good...
People NEED to do SOME research before they go spouting off this trash... Ignorance is running wild these days...
