Are Christians bad? Are Buddhists bad? No, people are generally good, regardless of their ethnicity or religion. It is the few, the extremists, who are bad. Unfortunately people tend to see the evil and overlook the good in many cases.
I live in a Muslim country where I am the minority in every way possible and I am treated very well here.

Seriously? That's like saying do all dogs bite. Muslims are like any other people you see around you....there is good and bad in every religion. I feel REALLY annoyed whenever someone asks this question...what makes u think we're bad? I'm muslim...there's nothing wrong with me. I'm american...I know you're just asking.....so the answer is NO!

No, I think for the most part they are misunderstood. The very radical fundamentalist Muslims are the ones that are not doing any favors to the rest of the Muslim population by preaching hate.

Not all of them. Islam basically is not a horrendous religion at all. The teachings of Islam are definitely sturdy, bulky and sealed.
But mostly Muslim people are born naturally as volatile and violent people, but not all of them. They are generally so authoritarian, stiff, tense, conventional and completely intolerant towards everything in this life but theirselves.

what do u think?I m sure that ur not muslim.Muslims r the best religion among all. I wanted to tell that due to many reasons muslims are becoming bad people in eyes of people of other religions and this is creating a negative impact on them of islam. I believe awareness needs to be created amongst all the people that Islam is not a bad religion but unfortunately many of its followers are bad. What I mean is that we need to justify them it is the best religion but the followers are one of the worst people in the world. If people of any other religions do wrong things will the religion be bad or the people doing bad things. Tell people it is not the teachings of islam which teaches to do these things and tell in fact the things they do are totally forbidden in islam. Many of these bad muslims are saying that the acts that they do are a part of islam or have a firm belive that this is a part of islam and one of it's commandments. This believe for some is a misconception and as far as possible efforts should be made to guide them , and for some this is not a misconceptions but they in fact are enemies of islam and in disguise of Muslims are polluting Islam. However non Muslims should be made clear that any claim of such activities as being part or a commandment of islam is wrong. I believe non muslims think these things are a part of islam and thus think of islam as wrong. Please spread this message of mine to as many muslim preachers ,scholars or who so ever who can help in spreading this message amongst non mulsims so this message may spread amongst them as quickly as possible. Due to this many people are running away form islam as they think of it as a bad religion and any guidance coming there way either in form of a mulism preacher or in form of a miracle which they see in islam or form any other fascinating thing which they see in islam goes effect less. Please tell me if action on this problem is all ready being taken.

There are both "good" and "bad" people who call themselves Muslims. But I know far more good ones than bad ones.

There are probably some bad Muslims out there, just like there are some bad Christians, Catolics, Atheists, Agnostics etc etc etc.
