No, I don't regret having one-night stands... Or having sex on the first date... Or any of these things. Even things that now seem clearly stupid made sense at the time. Some things I have no problem telling my husband if he really wanted to know - to others, I would not confess; depending how personal the issue is. IMO, it is in general not such a good idea to delve into too much detail of one's past sex life; it serves no purpose, what's past is past, let the sleeping dogs lie. You don't owe anyone to divulge such personal details. And there's nothing to feel guilty about - experimenting, experiencing, and even making mistakes is all part of your path to maturity.

Yes and no. Have felt guilty, but wrong or right, have assumed my potential partner has had a one-night stand in the past and feel no reason to be intimate about the details. Have learned from dealing with my now ex that I had a sex only relationship for a guy that I turned out not to like as a person at all that he was just to freaked about to accept me or the situation at face value.

It's all just part of life.. don't spend time and energy on regretting it. If you don't like the feeling, learn from it and move on. If you enjoyed it, then why give yourself grief over it. It all comes down to who you are and what you're comfortable with doing or being. If you do something you don't like.. just move on. Bringing yourself down over it will not help at all nor will telling your boyfriend unless of course it was fun and you can both handle talking about past fun. This doesn't seem to be the case in your situation so just get over it.

The question really is, do you have feelings for that one night stand, whomever it be. That could be why your feeling so guilty and if so what would you want your B or G to do in your shoes.
Thats what you should do, you either need to end the guilt by saying something or following, what might be, your heart. Otherwise you might never be happy!!!

I hooked up with a guy friend of mine from the gym. We enjoyed each others company and liked hanging out. One day we decided to take it to the next level. We agreed that we would just be friends, no strings. Well, he ended up falling in love with me, and I ended up losing a really great friend. No one wins in this situation.
