IM 45, have never been married and am looking for a new relationship. IM young looking and would like to start a family. My question is how much younger can a potential partner be. Now IM not silly enough to believe IM about to get an 18 year old beauty queen! So am looking for realistic answers.

I dont think that age matters that much but i dont think you would really have a lot in common with a 16 year old so i'd say someone 30+ if you are looking for something long term. But if you do meet someone that is a lot younger and get on with really well, don't let the age difference put you off!!

I'd say no more than 10 years, so you have more of a chance of having common interests, plus many women are now happy to start a family when in their mid thirties. However, my father was 18 years older than my mother and they had 35 years together - not all bliss because they were both very strong personalities, but they made it work.

I dated a guy for a few years that was 11 years older than me. It started when I was 18 and we're still friends 8 years later. I think it has to be comfortable for both you and her. Also, if you are financially set or secure be aware of younger girls looking to be taken care of. It happens all the time. Good luck

age does not matter this much if both are over 30 , the gap is more like when u r in ur 30's and the other is a lot of years younger ...but after 30 there is no much of problems

Hmm, you want to start a family you say? Women usually hit their menopause at around 40 - 50, so anyone under the age of 40 would be good if you want children. Well, that's my opinion anyway...

well in your case i believe maybe you may get a woman who's at least 38 the youngest or around her early 40's. just never forget the phrase "age doesn't matter in love"
(-: good luck in finding your soul mate:-)

um i think maximum 15 but tht wuld prob b the maximum but realli age shuldnt mattr cos its personality thts important and if u luv some1 (provided their not lyk double ur age or half cos thts kinda gross unless ur a serious spunk or watever) it shuldnt matter realli just as long as they feel the same way.
