i need to find a website that has apartments in the upper east/west side in NYC thats price range is between $2000 to like $3500 a month with pictures of the apartments in it

Yeah, Craigslist.com is really THE place to find apartments in the city (as well as the outer bouroughs). Many of the listings include pictures and a map to show where the apartments are. You can pretty much find almost anything else you need on craigslist too (second hand furniture, people willing to help you move for cheap, someone who will exchange singing lessons for a backrub, etc...) Make sure you go to the NEW YORK craigslist page, as there are pages for hundreds of cities.
