Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.
Trying new ideas does not work. Even if it works, it is temporary.

average body fat for a fit person is about 22% you'll have good muscle definition at 15% and lower than that youll start looking like a spagetti factory with veins and muscle fibers poking out!
Fat burning drugs help in the way that it boosts your energy by maintaning you metabolism, but to get the most out of this you need to excersize HARD! Amino acids are for repair so unless you train dont bother.

2 hrs A Smoothie/low fat protien shake/yoghurt

If anything, the amino acids would add extra calories to their diet. It may help for weight loss, however, because it could cause dehydration.
The bottom line is that there is absolutely no magic bullet to lose weight. Consume less calories and get more exercise is the only way.

Sounds like a load of rubbish to me. There's no miracle tablets that you can that will make you lose weight. It's hard work, but diet and exercise is the only proved way to do it. And you'd probably lose more than a pound a week too!

That is nonsense since Americans are getting way too much protein (which is amino acids) and it is killing them according to site below. Plus it has good ways to lose weight with reliable sources like AHA, AMA, ADA and FDA.
