is it too late now to teach her some new tricks.. right now she answers whenever we call to her name.. any help would be appreciated.. thx

You can train a cat at any age. My cat can walk on its back legs, shake hands, give high fives... its sot of wierd but anyway. My biggest tip would be to find out something that it likes i.e. biscuits, milk, treats etc, and prais it with these luxuries whenever it shows the slightet bit of improvment. I found that if I said "no" it would imediatly think "oh, well i must be doing the wronge thing" and i can tell you right now, your not going ANYWHERE when a cat gets that in its head. so basicly
1) Prais
2) Patience
3) Persistance

I have a Turkish Angora and I could train him until he was 2 so keep going. Also I am a vet and that is the case with most cats.

Wow I'm jealous of you! Turkish angoras are absolutely beautiful! (except my friend has one that is a complete nutcase...)
I think a cat/kitten is trainable at any age, as long as they aren't too old, eg. 2-3 years might be a bit much... Good luck :)

I don't think a pet is every too old to learn new tricks and your kitten is still young. I believe that you can teach some new tricks but you must have patience. Good luck :]
