How bad is pizza for your weight? I am watchimng what I am eating to be more healthier and to loose some weight.

Is it a bad thing if I eat pizza once in a while?

what I do, is pick one day a week that i can 'blow' my diet, and then if you have one piece, I imagine it won't hurt..but don't have the whole thing, because you will put back on all that you lost all week...very high in carbs, calories, and fat...Good luck!

Once in a while is fine for pizza. The only health concern with pizza is the carbs in the crust the fat in the cheese and the fat and calories in the Oil. Now I dis agree with the cheese and oil. Olive oil is so very healthy in moderate quantity. Cheese is very healthy for you. Every one needs dairy in their diet (except lactose intolerants). Dairy actually helps you loose weight. Carbs in crust is the only concern. That's why pizza shouldn't be eaten so very often. When you look at pizza itself- lets look at like a sausage pizza- its got bread[crust], fruit[tomato sauce], meat[sausage] and dairy[cheese]. Pizza is a balanced meal. The key is everything in moderation. If you have pizza, say once a week, buy it by the slice. Eat one or two pieces NOT a whole pie. BUT BUT BUT, the best thing you can do is make it yourself. Some pizza places use crappy ingredients. If your gonna buy get it from a decent private owned pizzeria not a chain pizzeria. Hope this helps.

It is very heavy on calories. U can reduce the potion that u eat if u r crazy about it.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

I don't think PIZZA is BAD, I think its good because it has some of the pyramid food thing..... u have your bread, cheese, and meat with some veggies, I mean what is so bad about that?!

Depends on what's on it, who makes it, and how much you eat.

In theory, its dough (bread) Tomato sauce (fruit) and cheese( dairy) at its core.

But if its super processed cheese, sauce loaded with extra salts and sugars, and covered in processed meats...and you eat a whole pie...

then no, its not good for your weight.

Eat in moderation.
