It could be a number of things, every cat is different so take him/her to the vet
My cat was throwing up but still eating and we discovered he had a bladder problem, which could have been really serious if we had not taken him to the vet.

Worms! You can go to the vet and they will give her something to get rid of them, and it's probably cheaper than what you get at the pet store. You can get stuff at the pet store to put in the food, but seeing a vet is probably more important in case it's something else.
The worms sort of feed off of the food your animal (cat) eats. I guess that makes the cat feel unsatisfied, and it may also be losing important vit-minerals it needs.

i would give her bland food for a few days, then introduce small amounts ie 4 times a day can/pouch food. See how that goes if that is ok then reintroduce dry food. My cat immediately regurgitates biscuits as he rushes them down

It could be furballs. There is a gel that you can put on her paws and she will lick it off. Because of the hair in her system she is not getting benefit from the food she eats.

when my cat got older she for soem reason became unale to recognise when she was full so shed eat too much and throw up.
also, she couldnt eat dry food cos it upset her tummy and it would come right back up again!
