LOL!! When I read your question, before reading your note to it, I KNEW you were going to say the Muslim women were the most unfortunate... Ahh...Well, well, well! I'm a Muslim woman, very educated in Islam, mashaAllah, and THEREFORE consider myself one of the LEAST fortunate.
As for whom "I" find the most unfortunate? I say people like you who have nothing better to do with their lives but staying on Y/A the entire time, trying to stain the beautiful religion of Islam but NEVER succeeding. How about that for an answer? ;)
But no, silly, I'm not that wicked. I don't think you're the most unfortunate. I think the most unfortunate creatures are the oppressed humans (don't even think about claiming Muslim women are oppressed; you don't know enough Muslim women to make that claim yet!), those animals who're treated brutally.... those western women who're oppressed by their society to dress in such a way that'll please men.... Hmm.. who else.... I think that's all!

Those who believe they are going to hell when they die. All those people who accept the Christian doctrine of a wrathful, vengeful God who punishes sinners, yet for whatever reason can't get their lives in line with whatever it is they think God expects of them.
Even if there is a such a wrathful God, at least non-Christians got to live happy, ignorant lives before being cast into hell; the worriers just suffered in life dreading their fate, and will suffer just as much when it comes true. And if they were wrong about God, then they merely suffered in life for no reason.

In Chapter four of Quran
(An-Nisa 4:19)

O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings about through it a great deal of good.

And In Chapter 9

The believing men and women, are associates and helpers of each other. They (collaborate) to promote all that is beneficial and discourage all that is evil; to establish prayers and give alms, and to obey Allah and his Messenger. Those are the people whom Allah would grant mercy. Indeed Allah is Mighty and Wise. (Al-Taubah 9:71)

I don't know who are the most unfortunate creatures on this planet,but on of those who reject faith are in my opinion in the race if not lead it..which they very wel might be..(allah knows for better)

Because allah says in the Quran
Chapter 4 Verse 48

Allah says: “Allah does not forgive that anyone should set up partners with Him, but he forgives anything less than that to whom He pleases.

Allah also says in the quran

Allah loves those who turn to Him in repentance, and when His servant repents to Him, it pleases Him immensely. He says: “Allah loves those who turn much in repentance, and He loves those who purify themselves.” [Sûrah al-Baqarah(2): 222]


So you have time to repent before you die..I hope you do:)

Your answer is honorable, but I thought animals in zoos or who are in labs. I say animals because they truly have no choice when humans have them in captivity, or even when humans have them as pets which is a certain sort of captivity as well. Animals have to count on humans to care for them in many situations and humans can't seem to take care of themselves or their own offspring half the time it looks like.

Humans will always have a choice - the choices may not be easy - but we can make choices. Animals are almost all under out control, be it by keeping them as pets, hunting them, destroying their habitats, etc. Human choice can go against society, family, culture, law, but choice is always an option no matter how hard the choice you can always make one.

I have pets and it hits me once in a while that even though I cannot read my dog's mind, that dog counts on me for food, medical care, and how long it will live (if it gets sick and I opt to treat her or put her down), a dog's life may not be a human life, but it is something to think about. Even human baby grows to where it can make choices about life and death for itself.

I know it sounds like an animal rights thing, but I even thought that people who have no faith would be unfortunate, but we can even choose to have faith or to search for faith - sometimes faith is a choice to believe.
