I have to write an "exegetical" paper for my New Testament class. I have to choose a segment of the New Testament, like a chapter or few verses, and write on the possible interpretations, and things like that.

What would make a good paper topic?

I can't choose a whole book. That'd be way too long of a paper. It just has to be a small portion.

The one that gives more room to interpretation is Revelations and you know teachers always like the student's interpretation thing. Plus, it contains lots of symbolism and it's really well-written (it's known that some parts of the New Testament are kind of poor literary-wise)

Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
