I don't think you can get over something.or more so..someone close to you who died. I still cry for my uncle who died of cancer two years ago. Still cannot believe he is not longer with us here on earth. But i have learnt to accept that he is gone..and on the anniversary of his death, the family comes together to say a little prayer and remember the good times we have with him. so maybe you can try something like that..pray and then laugh a little by remembering the good times you had with him/her. Maybe then you will be able to cope a little better.

I am so sorry for your loss. Perhaps you can start by doing something to honor your friend? Organize a fundraiser for cancer research in your friend's name? That will take up some of your time - and maybe disctract you enough that you can start healing?
You could also check your local papers for a support group to join, it may help to "get it out".
I wish you the best in your healing, again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. You may not get over it for a long time. Think of the good times and how you both enjoyed them. Best Wishes.

It is normal for one to grieve the loss of a close person, but time heals most things. Don't worry, you'll get over it soon enough and you'll be just as happy as you were before.

What is it specifically that troubles you? Do you miss her? That is natural. Does it make you think of your own mortality? Think about what it is that you can't get over. Analyze it your self and save several thousands dollars in therapy. Figuring out what's wrong is the first step towards healing.
