You shouldn't be naming names. We are supposed to be annonymous. That is reportable. And guess what????

Asking someone to use a dictionary is not a very constructive answer, when answers are not very helpful, but you gain points for your score, it might appear to them that you are just being a bit brash and playing for points. Rather than aiming for a best answer score.

It does seem a little unfair that one person gets a violation when another doesn't, but then life is always like that. One person might win the lotto, but it still leaves the vast majority who can carry on dreaming.

Try and aim to answer questions that you have a specific interest in or knowledge of. If I truly want to research the meaning of a word I would use Wikipedia, Google, and alike, but this is a questions and answers site. Some questions are purely asked to gain a response, be it comical or serious.

Good luck x x

I can't see the point of telling people,'look it up' or 'do your own homework'. This is a question and answer website,if everyone was to look things up this Yahoo website would n't be needed.I think it's because they do'nt know the proper answer and are just after the 2pts by writing any rubbish.Yahoo should stop awarding points to these timewasters.
By the way to answer your other question for prettykit:
Puerile (spelt properly here) means: Immature and childish

no this is not fair as you did right because in the front of a dictionary it tells and exsplain how to use it ,most questions on here can be asily found out by the person no need to ask if they thought about it themselves first some people are just very lazy

well if you not gonna be constructive in your answer and be serious don't bother answering.
i have problems with spellings and it is offensive to me when people start having a go at me about it. Also they may have just typed the wrong letter on the key board.
But the other person should be sent a violation notice as well.

I think you just have to remain aloof, content with the knowledge that you are more intelligent than most people on this site.
