To the best of my knowledge a straight-gay is someone who is gay but in most aspects fits the straight stereotype. Like a gay man who watches football religiously is a straight-gay. There is also a gay-straight, like a straight man who loves fashion.
And she definitely means it like that if she watches Sex & the City because there is an episode where they use this term throughout.
