Tell that to the Iraqi government. They tried and sentenced him. All we did was find him. The easiest way to explain this is that in America, he would sitting around awating execution for the next ten years. Iraq's justice system is a bit swifter.
So, if you have a problem with Saddam, who killed a whole bunch of people, being dead, your beef is not with President Bush. I'll leave it to you to find out who are the leaders of Iraq.

The US had a lot to do with Saddam's execution. After all, we invaded Iraq and hunted him down like a dog. Without us, he would never have gone to trial.
But except for keeping him in our custody, that's where our involvement ends. He was tried in an Iraqi court under Iraqi law by Iraqi judges for crimes committed in Iraq.
(I just wish we could be as "behind" Ahmadinejad's execution as much as we were with Saddam's!)

Bush had nothing to do with it. That was Iraqi Justice right there. The Iraqi court convicted him and sentenced him. Hell Saddam didn't even want to leave the American on the day of execution. They said he was real nice and stuff. Must have wanted to be nice to see if they would feel sorry for him and protect him.

Bush had nothing to do with Saddam's trail or execution. Both were carried out by his own country. The people he once ruled judged him and gave Sadddam, what they felt was, a fitting punishment.

Of course G.W is the unseen hand. But I believe that even if Saddam were to be killed (as he was eventually), the timing was in very poor taste.

You must be Sunni Muslim.
I think he did deserve to die. He was an evil man and killed many people. He was just as bad as Adolph Hitler. At least Adolph Hitler had the courage to kill himself rather than get caught and stand trial.
As far as who was behind it? It was the Iraqi people who judged him and sentenced him to the death penalty for his crimes against his own people.
What rock have you been living under?
