Everyone keeps saying "Stop insulting my religion"
"Quit insulting Atheists"
"Quit insulting Christians"
"Quit insulting Wiccans"
"Quit insulting Muslims"
How about, "Quit insulting anyone", that would be refreshing. People keep trying to point fingers, "Oh those Atheists keep insulting religion" and then an Atheist will say the exact same thing about Christians... Its obvious everyone gets nailed, so can't we quit crying about it, acting like we are the only ones getting mocked or insulted. Every religion/irreligion hands out insults, and being insulted does not prove your religion right, nor does it prove the other religion to be full of hateful people.. There are some sincere, respectful people in all religions, and some bitter vengeful people. Just ignore them, you can't change them. It is just in their heart to be indecent.
Your thoughts? Why does this happen? Will it ever stop? Speak up!

I love this--thanks for pointing it out! Assuming we can't keep ourselves from feeding the trolls, it would go a long way to just say, "Stop being insulting" instead of labeling either the group doing the insulting (because we'd be lying about the good ones of that group) or the group being insulted (because that's whiney). I, for one, will try that. "Stop being insulting." (Not you. I'm just practicing.)

You have a good point not to judge the group by a few individuals. We should all have a mutual respect. I welcome any intelligent thoughtful points of view. But there are always going to be ignorant mindless people posting outrageous cramp just to get a reaction. Let just ignore it or we end up playing into it.

I agree, if people just stopped insulting each other, that would be a great breath of fresh air haha I doubt people will stop though, because they've got their pride and think they're the only right ones. That's what I think. Thanks for speaking up, we need more people like you!

I don't tell anyone not to insult ANYBODY, even if they insult me or my beliefs, because I believe in freedom of speech.
