The 2nd hand computer I bought does not have authentic windows XP therfore I can not use Windows media player. I am not able to play alot of the clips that are sent to me though I was told that there are other players that will allow me to play them. Pleas can anyone tell me which ones they are ?

definitely winamp ..used it for years and its superior in everyway to media player..

The most common media playing software aside from WMP are Real Player & Quicktime. You might have to adjust preferences but you should be able to play most files WMP would.

if you want to play windows media file but cant actually do it with window media player, than consider using VLC media player. It plays tons of crap.. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

go and use winamp... its good and easier..
the others are
apple itune,
real media player..
............
tons of players are there around..
use the suggested one..
