If you mean: "Is Bangalore making its mark in the global world", then the answer is: probably, but surreptitiously. There are a lot of call centre companies in Bangalore. Here, in the UK, many companies use these services (e.g. Norwich Union), but customers really loathe them. No-one really cares about which city in India the call centre operator is based, so the person at the other end of the line, who is not able to answer anything but a routine general enquiry, could well be in Bangalore. So whether by irritating or infuriating, then Bangalore could be making its mark.
