After hearing about a 14 yr old boy dying at a yoga camp!

Yoga is cent percent safe, no doubt on that.
But always better to go by proper instructions & getting guidance from well trained asans.
We dont know the fact behind the 14 year old boy's death.
Yoga is a science & art, practised & researched some 1000 years back. So ti proven as safe one.

It may be a coincident that the boy died in yoga camp. Yoga is very much safe if your are trained by a qualified teacher. It is risky doing by wtching it on TV.

Yes, yoga is safe. Yoga can give you longlife fitness. Yoga is simple exercise. Before start yoga u can take guidelines from teacher. Otherwise no problem from yoga.

It is safe generally as it involves many parts of your bodies nerve system, inner & outer body. But you need to practise from the beginning. With proper guidance of a skillfull guru.

yes, Yoga is safe. Things happen. People die in automobile accidents, drown in bathtubs, etc. That does not make that activity unsafe.
Yoga is, simply, muscle streatching exercises.

of course its safe. that death (which i have never heard of) had to have many other stipulations involved.
Yoga is just an exercise that works on flexibility and body control, while also helping in relaxation.
don't worry, you won't die, i promise :)
