They got to Pentagon and flying schools and toured the White House and govt escorted family out news said. They are in at least 40 states and pres of Iran said he has key informers in US. He is serious about his call from 'allah' in that for his task to prepare the world for their 'Mahdi' there must be a all (radical) Islam world with big chaos & bloodshed, We are on the list as he's said like it or not and I'm sure he knows we'll be like putty in his hands(the aclfu will back him). I don't know why we the great USA is taking threats, warnings intentions from someone who can. What's the difference between now & Hiroshima danger? Depends on what we're defending ourselves against. If we're defending ourselves against a plane crashing from the sky? Not much we can do about that, any more than we can protect ourselves from a tornado or a landslide or--most likely of all, in this country--a heart attack... but we don't spend a lot of time worrying about tornadoes and landslides or even heart attacks. From attacks that aren't a complete surprise? Many of those can be defended against--people transporting explosives, for example, *have* been stopped.
But from the constant fear generated by people asking loaded questions like this, whether it's coming from you or from the President? That's a lot tougher--and very worthwhile. I strongly recommend the book below.
PS -- This answer is true for anyone, not just people in the USA ... and other countries have been combatting terrorism for a lot longer than we.

None, that's the point. Arming yourself to the teeth might help if the enemy wanted to invade, subdue, and occupy (like what we're doing in Iraq), but that's not what terrorism it about. They want to cause panic, which they can do by killing a handful of people at random.
It only takes one terrorist with one homemade bomb to kill some Americans on US soil again, which will throw the country into another hopeless panic and again prove what easy targets we are. You think we should nuke them? Fine, but where do you drop the bombs? You could turn the entire Middle East into radioactive glass, and still miss hundreds of terror cells already embedded in the US. So you'd kill a billion innocent people and accomplish nothing.
The only way to defeat terrorism is not to be terrorized. Yeah, they can kill Americans. They can blow themselves up, or fly planes into buildings. But guess what? Americans kill Americans too! Is an American killed on 9/11 by terrorists any more dead than one killed on 9/12 in a drive-by shooting or a drunk driver? But you don't see us going apeshit over inner-city crime or highway safety like we do over terrorism.
What if we treated the risk of a terrorist attack the same as we treat any other potential cause of death in this country? Then we could actually claim victory in the War on Terror, and Islamic militants would have to find some other way of getting our attention.

Do you fight a insurgent style war? If so, some food for thought, There are over three million gun owners in Pennsylvania alone. I suspect there are actually more. Alot of those are hunters that are vary familiar with their weapons. Most would have no problem either mentally or literally shooting Muslim extremists.

#1 they can't get here by water, we've got battleships
#2 they can't get here by plane, we've got planes
#3 they can't get here by ground we've got tanks
#4 they can't survive if they show themselves, we've got nukes
If they actually landed on American soil, with a force that could threaten us, then this is what would happen (not should happen):
#1 nuke their soil
#2 send over the military to wherever in US they landed
#3 have policemen, martial artists, etc. train able citizens to defend themselves
#4 have un-able citizens evakuated to Alaska, Hawaii, or whatever corner of the U.S. is farthest from them. Canada would probably take some too.
#5 Fight
Let's hope it doesn't get to that.

I'd be screwed. But I really doubt somehow that they are planning to attack South Carolina anytime soon. It's not all that high on their list. I'd have plenty of warning to go hide in my car.
