Doesn't the Koran instruct Muslims to kill infidels and apostates (those who wish to convert from Islam)? Doesn't it also insist that good Muslims must strive to install a theocracy where they live, by violent means if necessary? So, wouldn't a Muslim have to renounce many of the fundamentals of his religion in order to embrace Western-style democracy?

There is no democracy in a islamic country where shari'a law is imposed ! If a muslium is caught converting to Christianity or another religion they will be beheaded (which happens in Saudi Arabia still today) jihad is excpected to be done & there are over 100 verses in the koran, its the only way a muslim can get to their paradise !! muhhummad started & spread islam by the sword, which still happens today.

Democracy? Those people can't even get along with each other, how is democracy going to even have a chance? To have a democracy you first have to not go out killing people that you don't like.
