I know that to many it is an illogical idea. I feel extremely strongly that I have a soul. LOL!
If not, can you explain why?

In a way. I don't believe in the Judeo-Xian concept of a soul, with heaven and hell and demons and angels. But I do feel that there is an energy to us that continues on. To all of us. Animals and plants as well. Maybe that's from my years studying Wicca?
The thing is, I'm a card carrying atheist (As you probably know :) ) and I realize how irrational such a belief is. There's no proof. Just a feeling, but it's there none-the-less. It's something I believe without attributing to any gods, and I would never assert it as a fact. It's just my silly superstition.

Human nature wants that we live even after we are dead. The soul is a good invention. Some part of us conveniently, continues to live long after we are all dead. No one has seen the soul but it is conveniently transparent and invisible, it can fly and glide at high speed through the sky, which the body can't do. We don't even know whether it controls the physical body or is controlled by the body. Just in short, why do we need the soul, if it continues to do something which is of no use to us ? and which we have not seen it do.

Yes, we all have a soul and all of us are on a spiritual path to unite with the Creator. Some of us are further along the path than others but we will all get there eventually. Those who deny the existence of the Creator are actually closer to finding the answer than the rest of us. This is because we have to exhaust all of our beliefs before we are ready to learn the way. When we finally ask, "Why do I exist?", "Why am I here?" or "What is my purpose in life?" and we search for the answer, we will be provided the way to learn these answers.

All living creatures have souls.The soul holds the record of existence. It is the center of knowing. Every thing you see hear say touch smell and taste are held within your soul.
The Soul is the part of you that you do not want to lose. It is giving your wealth of knowledge away.

Nope, I don't think anyone does. I don't have to explain why if there's no proof of one - you have to explain why you think you HAVE one. And you better have some evidence if you want anyone to believe you.

i have a kakta too. that's a voice that lives in your stomach. you've heard it, it's the one that says "what should i eat?" and then you answer it by deciding on what to eat. it's improvable, but it exists!!! it lives with your soul.
