*sigh* Girl ignore the zealots who say you're offending God. God wants us to learn for ourselves. God wants us to love him, not because we fear not to or are obliged to, but because we know him. In theory at least. I'd imagine you're referring to 2 different things. One place in the bible says that only 144,000 will go to heaven. Another place says that the unforgiveable sin is to blaspheme against the holy spirit. (I don't know the exact scriptures, it's nearly 4am, I'm too tired to look it up) These are reasons someone might not be "saved" but heck, none of us are really "saved" until we're told we're not going to hell. So there's no such thing as being "saved" right now anyways. As far as I know, there's not been a rapture or great judgement yet.

Cindy,

As you can easily see from Y/A there are many who detest any mention of GOD (unless it is cussing Him). Although even these people can be saved, it is not as likely because they do not want to hear about salvation.

There are many others who think that God can not love them and because of that, they can not be saved. Others simply have not heard that God loves them yet. One last group, those who think their good works is all it takes and they do not see the need for GOD. They think GOD will accept them because they are good.

The TRUTH. If anyone...ANYONE that is reading this now is not sure of their eternal destiny and they want to go to heaven...they want to know that GOD can and does love them....they CAN call upon God and be saved...and they can do it in the next few moments by looking at the link below.

If you have a desire to be saved....it shows that GOD is calling you and you can be.

If being saved doesn't interest you then you won't be saved but Jesus says that if you seek Him, you will find Him. He will not turn anyone away. Father God knows your heart and mind. He reaches out to everyone at one or more times in their life. Some people choose to turn Him off and not hear. But a person who listens to that call inside and hears Him and turns to Jesus for salvation will, without a doubt be saved. It is the guarantee of Jesus. All who call upon the name of Jesus will be saved.

This is actually a VERY smart question.

GOD has always made it clear that we have that ability to choose.

HE sets the truth before you, if you want it you take it.

If you don't want to be saved, JESUS isn't going to force you.

Those people who don't want to be saved, will not because they choose that way.

But why should HE though, isn't GOD suppose to be GOD? I think it would be a shame to have a forced worshiper. (Not that HE couldn't)

Also, GOD is showing us that HE alone knows all things, by telling us that HE already know that some will not choose life.

This is an interesting issue for discussion. One of the basic teachings in Christianity is the "original sin". Every baby is born with sin (derived from the first human beings, that is Adam & Eve who ate the forbidden fruit). So, if the baby died before he/she is baptized, then according to the "original sin" principle, the baby should go to hell as his/her sin has not been washed away (i.e. they have not been purified through baptism). If the other readers feel this is an incorrect understanding of the principle of the "original sin", please feel free to elaborate.

It's true, some never WILL be saved. That does not imply that God has already condemned them to hell, rather that the person will not repent and bend to the will of God. God does not will that any shall be lost, but the reality is that God gave us free-will and some of us not accept god's mercy.

That's what I have been trying to tell you all along there is no point in trying. The way you know it is using common sense. No one will be saved the whole thing is a lot of nonsense. OO

All that means is that there is some who will never accept Jesus. The stubborn mule types. You can be saved if you want to be.

Of course darling. If you keep blaspheming against the Lord, Why would he allow you enjoy eternity with him?
The point is God wants us to do our level best to obey and walk in his ways. In this modern corrupted age, the fact that you trying your best to be would already catch God's attention. If your walk and relationship with God is right, you have nothing to worry. Don't listen to people who tell you that 100percent perfection is required. No one is.
